The Mentor Leaders Program was established in 2021 to further enhance the impact and quality of In2science peer mentoring. The program aims to increase university student mentors’ understanding of the myriad career pathways and opportunities available in the STEM sector. In matching In2science mentors with a STEM Professional who has recently entered the workforce, the Mentor Leaders Program offers professional development opportunities for both the STEM mentor and In2science university student mentor. Importantly, In2science mentors will develop a deeper awareness of STEM career pathways and opportunities, which will filter down to the secondary school student mentees, ultimately building awareness of, and participation in, STEM study and careers. This program is exclusively for mentors who have demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities during their time as an In2science mentor.
We are always looking for more STEM Professionals to take part in the program. If you are interested in participating, please click the link below to complete our expression of interest form. If you would like more information about what’s involved, please contact the In2science Program Manager.
